You Are

You are an early-career engineer who wants to make your mark in semiconductor design. You have a solid academic background in electronics, electrical, or computer engineering, and you have spent the last couple of years working with embedded memory design. You are ready to go deeper.

You have worked with SRAM, ROM, or Register Files and know that small circuit decisions affect characterization, layout, and eventually silicon. You are comfortable with Cadence tools, writing scripts when repetitive tasks slow you down, and collaborating across teams. At Synopsys, you will work on memory IP that goes into real products, alongside engineers who will help you grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and simulate embedded memory circuits, including SRAM, ROM, and Register Files, using Cadence Virtuoso and related tools.
• Support layout work with layout engineers so that design intent carries cleanly into physical implementation.
• Run bitcell characterization and basic reliability analysis to validate performance across process, voltage, and temperature corners.
• Debug circuit-level issues by analyzing simulation results, finding root causes, and proposing fixes with guidance from senior engineers.
• Work with CAD, verification, and frontend teams to align on design requirements, timing constraints, and integration needs.
• Characterize the memory compiler for the desired PPA.
• Use C-Shell, Perl, or Python scripting to automate repetitive tasks and improve design flow efficiency.

You will join the memory IP design team in Noida, working on embedded memory solutions including SRAM, ROM, and Register Files for advanced process nodes. The team focuses on circuit design, characterization, and reliability analysis for products used in AI, mobile, automotive, and networking applications. You will collaborate with layout engineers, CAD teams, and verification groups across global locations.
