Job Description
We are looking for a Specialist in Supply Chain and Procurement to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and supplier management activities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors through research, networking, and market intelligence to meet procurement requirements.
- Assess supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and pricing models to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements and cost efficiencies.
- Monitor supplier performance, proactively addressing discrepancies, risks, or service issues to maintain consistent delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs, requirements, and timelines for effective procurement planning.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and best practices to inform sourcing strategies and decisions.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on supplier evaluations, contracts, and procurement activities to support decision-making and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Commerce, Economics, or Finance; Master's in Business Administration or Business Analytics.
Certifications
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - Indian Institute of Management, Trichy.
