About the Role
Salesforce, a global leader in AI-powered CRM solutions, is seeking passionate and technically skilled Software Engineers for its AMTS position within the Tableau team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that empower organizations to understand and act on their data effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable client and server-side software components.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer defects and production issues promptly.
- Implement new features, fix bugs, and write automated tests ensuring adherence to coding and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Analyze logs, crash dumps, and network traces to identify and resolve issues.
- Document root cause analyses and provide clear explanations for fixes.
- Continuously improve work processes and share progress transparently with mentors and senior engineers.
Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in C++17 or Java17; knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or C# is a plus.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, multithreading, concurrency, and database systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software engineering best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise-level SaaS products and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Background in data processing and analytics technologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects or participation in hackathons.
