Job Summary
Emerson is seeking skilled Software Engineers to design, analyze, and develop software applications for Industrial Automation products and technologies. This is an on-site position based in Pune, Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software applications using standard processes within an Agile team.
- Review and provide feedback on teammate’s code.
- Assist in planning and roadmapping new features and functionality.
- Perform software quality assurance testing.
- Provide technical support as assigned.
- Contribute to other project activities as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with C# and .NET framework.
- Proficiency in version control tools such as Git.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, analysis, and design.
- Experience with full software development life cycle and QA processes in Agile environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, Redux, and CSS.
- Familiarity with automation scripting frameworks like Playwright.
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing libraries.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
