Job Description
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, configuring, and testing SCADA/HMI systems using platforms such as Movicon, CIMPLICITY, and iFIX.
- Developing and maintaining reporting systems, including periodic and event-based reports, using SQL and scripting tools.
- Configuring and testing communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, and Ethernet-based systems.
- Developing PLC programs using structured logic, function block diagrams, or ladder logic.
- Collaborating with electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure integration across project deliverables.
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, control logic, and test reports.
- Performing system simulations, identifying faults, and recommending effective technical solutions.
- Supporting customer engagement activities, including system demonstrations and technical discussions.
- Working with PLC/SCADA platforms such as ABB, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider.
- Contributing to testing setups and continuously identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
- Sharing knowledge and best practices within the team to support continuous learning.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems.
- An understanding of industrial communication protocols and automation systems.
- The ability to manage tasks independently while meeting timelines and quality expectations.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience working with metering systems (liquid or gas), including custody transfer applications.
- Familiarity with flow computers such as S600+, OMNI, or equivalents.
- Knowledge of metering standards such as AGA-7, AGA-8, or API.
- Experience with batching systems and loading/unloading controllers.
- Exposure to database management and scripting for SCADA systems.
- An understanding of liquid proving, gas meter verification, and related processes.
- The ability to contribute ideas for improving testing processes and system design.
