Job Description
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will work on product testing for Ovation DCS and related applications. The role includes identifying and reporting bugs, improving test procedures, and supporting product quality activities within defined timelines.
- Perform testing of Ovation DCS products and applications
- Report issues and bugs found during testing
- Improve and maintain testing procedures for assigned tasks
- Install, configure, and maintain test systems
- Coordinate with the product development team
- Support product quality testing activities within agreed schedules
- Continuously build technical knowledge on DCS product components
Required Skills
- Understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or SCADA applications
- Knowledge of networking concepts and tools
- Basic understanding of virtualization
- Familiarity with the software testing lifecycle
- Knowledge of C#, C, and C++ programming languages
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Batch file, VB, or PowerShell
- Understanding of computer system architecture
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Power Engineering
- Basic understanding of the testing lifecycle
- Creative and analytical approach toward product testing
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
