Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic Software Engineer Interns to join our India Engineering team in Bangalore for the summer internship program. This role is open exclusively to 2027 graduates who are passionate about software development and eager to work on next-generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
- Build software and tools to support design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and internet-related tools.
- Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
Specialization Areas
Networking Protocols
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, and network debugging tools.
- Basics of security technologies like Firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS, and encryption protocols.
- Strong Python programming skills focused on optimization and performance.
Application Software
- Solid object-oriented design and programming skills.
- Experience with cloud application scaling and mobile app development (preferred).
- Interest in UI/UX design and development.
Embedded and Systems Development
- Strong fundamentals in operating systems and system-level programming.
- Experience with kernel programming, device drivers, and BSPs (preferred).
- Proficiency in Python and system debugging techniques.
Who You Are
- 2027 graduate in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages, particularly Python.
- Creative problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills.
