Software Engineering Internship
You will have the opportunity to work as an individual contributor or in project teams where software engineering, analytical skills, leadership, collaboration, inclusion, and innovation are keys to success. During your internship, you will work as part of a global Digital Technology & Data team, gaining hands-on experience in real business situations and exposure to many of Cargill's businesses and functions.

Your Wraork
- Internship focused on applying and building engineering skills in areas such as cloud platforms, big data platforms, application development, and more.
- Work is complemented by a quality approach to supervision and mentorship, with ongoing job performance evaluations.
- Interns are given the opportunity to apply their skills and gain an understanding of the Cargill organization.
- Opportunity to learn about Cargill's diverse businesses through events such as first-day orientation, experiential learning activities, and volunteer events.
- Other duties as assigned.

Internship Details
- The FY27 program begins on January 4, 2027 through the last week of June.
- Interns are paid a stipend monthly.
- Work timings: 12 noon - 9 pm.
- Transport is provided during internship, with pickup and drop from the same address within the serviceable limit of Bengaluru.
- Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered a full-time position to return as an Associate Software Engineer.

Eligibility
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or majors in AI, ML, Cybersecurity, Computing, etc., an information technology related discipline, and graduating with the degree in June 2027.
- The student must provide approval from their respective institution to be available and able to complete the 5-6 month internship running from early January 2027 through end June 2027.
- All candidates must be geographically flexible and willing to work onsite multiple days a week at our Bengaluru Capability Center.
- Knowledge of basic structured programming, systems analysis and design, database design, and business concepts.
- Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a software engineer intern.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with commercial product software development.
- Demonstrated analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related duties.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration skills, verbal and written communication skills.
- Information research and gathering skills.
