About the Role
Cargill is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our Digital Technology and Data (DT&D) team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about software development and eager to contribute to impactful digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Assist in designing and developing high-quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Automation: Collaborate on implementing internal deployment platforms, methodologies, and tools to automate processes for smooth and reliable releases.
- Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business and cybersecurity goals.
- Testing & Debugging: Write and maintain unit and integration tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal software performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and help implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for applications, deployment processes, and system configurations.
- Technical Support: Provide support and troubleshooting for deployed applications to minimize downtime and ensure fast resolution of issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
