Role Description
Software AG is hiring a QA Engineer I to join the ARIS team in Chennai. ARIS is a market-leading suite for Business Process Analysis and Process Mining, trusted by global enterprises. As part of our international R&D and Cloud Operations team, you will contribute to the quality assurance of ARIS Cloud products, actively participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.
You’ll work within agile and lean software development processes and contribute to building world-class enterprise solutions using modern cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily QA activities in alignment with project quality objectives
- Participate in full product lifecycle: requirement analysis, testing, validation, deployment
- Plan and implement test strategies (functional, validation, load, performance)
- Track, analyze, and report quality objectives and project quality status
- Collaborate closely with international agile teams
- Drive continuous process improvement within QA practices
- Use cloud and CI/CD tools to automate and enhance quality pipelines
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Batch Eligible
2023, 2024, 2025 graduates
Required Skills
Java, GitHub, CI/CD, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, Software Testing, Agile, ISO 9001, Software Development, QA Tools, Performance Testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in QA or software development
- Understanding of Agile development practices and quality standards like ISO9001
- Familiarity with tools used for requirements management, architecture, testing, and configuration
- Exposure to modern cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
