About the Role

As a Silicon Engineer at Google, you will be part of the Consumer Hardware Silicon division, working on designing and developing chips optimized for Google-branded consumer devices. These devices span areas such as imaging, machine learning, video, and security. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to explore innovative engineering solutions and contribute to the design, analysis, and prototyping of new concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with SoC teams to develop power and performance optimized chips.
Participate in the design, verification, and silicon implementation of ASICs and SoCs.
Work on design concepts involving CPUs, image processing, machine learning, computer vision, security, and video.
Assist in automating SoC design flows.
Engage with vendors and external partners to oversee manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Dual degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related technical field.
Understanding of basic design concepts and computer hardware architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship, work experience, or personal project experience in Hardware, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in SoC/ASIC Design, Design Verification, Physical Design, or Design for Testability.
Proficiency in Verilog/HDL or System Verilog coding.
