Role Overview
As an SDET Intern at Sprinto, you will gain hands-on experience in ensuring product quality while contributing to real features and workflows. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with developers and senior QA engineers, building a strong technical foundation in software testing and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining automated tests for UI, API, and integration layers.
- Collaborate with mentors to review product requirements and identify testing needs.
- Enhance test coverage by identifying gaps and reducing test flakiness.
- Support manual validation of new features and perform regression testing alongside automation.
- Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to verify workflows and functionality.
Requirements
- Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript/Node.js preferred; Python, Java, or similar languages are also acceptable).
- Curiosity to understand system functionality and eagerness to learn automation.
- Familiarity with at least one testing or scripting framework (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Jest, PyTest).
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals such as test cases, assertions, and debugging basics.
- Willingness to quickly adapt and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
