Sanofi Hiring Accounting Analyst A2R Cash Accounting | Hyderabad

About the Role

Global Finance Services (GFS), a key pillar of Sanofi’s Business Operations organization, is establishing a Global Hub in Hyderabad to deliver a range of finance services. This position focuses on providing treasury and cash accounting support to the group from Hyderabad.

The role involves activities such as bank reconciliations, clearing transitory accounts, and contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives. The Accounting Analyst works closely with Finance teams including Controlling, Treasury, Tax, and Internal Control, along with other business operations departments and customer service teams.

This position reports to the Head of Treasury Accounting and may be responsible for a specific sub-process within the Account to Report (A2R) function.

Sanofi’s global hubs support innovation and performance improvement across departments. Working within the A2R Cash Accounting team provides exposure to global finance operations and collaboration with teams across multiple geographies.

Main Responsibilities

• Operations: Deliver treasury accounting services to SBS. Reconcile A2R GL transit accounts and perform manual postings to clear balances.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and record related adjustments where necessary.
• Post accounting transactions related to financial instruments, debts, and loans.
• Calculate foreign exchange net positions and support treasury-related reporting.
• Manage month-end close activities related to treasury accounting and prepare required reports.
• Participate in business reviews and ensure all processes, transactions, and reporting comply with Sanofi accounting policies, internal control requirements, and audit or SOX standards.
• Execute activities aligned with the global Core Model and operational KPIs while building expertise in in-scope processes and entity-specific requirements.
• Document and transfer knowledge related to A2R treasury accounting processes and proactively identify operational challenges while supporting junior analysts when needed.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance processes by removing redundant activities.
• Participate in automation initiatives and support smooth adoption and transition of improved processes.

Candidate Profile

• Initial hands-on exposure to a general ledger accounting role.
• Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP standards.
• Knowledge of GL accounting, monthly close activities, reporting processes, and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as SAP FICO is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Excel.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional environment.
• Well organized with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Fluent communication in English.
