Job Role
Salesforce builds the tools and applications that help people work more effectively and efficiently, with design and user experience at the center. The team brings ambitious visions to life using the latest technologies and the Salesforce platform. Interns will help shape products focused on industry-specific solutions such as Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Public Sector Cloud, and B2C experiences.
You will work with your team to break down complex problems and propose clear, efficient, and consistent solutions. You will have direct access to customer executives and Salesforce executive management while working closely with the Product and Sales organizations.
The ideal candidate is meticulous, enjoys beautiful design, loves seeing products ship, and stays curious about new tools, trends, and devices. You act as a tireless advocate for the end user and put their needs first.
Responsibilities
- Influence and clearly communicate the Industries vision to a wide range of stakeholders
- Build strong partnerships across Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing
- Solve complex UX design problems across web, mobile, and tablet
- Work with product owners and managers to find opportunities for new products and features, and validate assumptions through user testing and research
- Work with engineering, developers, and QE to deliver a polished final product
- Own various web and mobile application interfaces
- Promote new interface guidelines and design patterns
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish
- Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices, with a drive to improve your process
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment while leading process improvement efforts
- Ability to influence others and build consensus while handling ambiguity
- Self-motivated, strong communicator, able to balance great design with short deadlines
- Experience using analytics, user research, and other approaches to inform decisions and iterate on the product
- Commitment to staying current with industry news and developments
- Talent for simple solutions to complex problems
- Expert knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related field, or equivalent experience
Bonus
- Experience working with design systems
- Experience with CRM or enterprise software
Modern Tooling Acumen
Candidates should have direct experience using and critically reviewing code and artifacts generated by large language model (LLM) coding assistants and agentic tools, and must be able to guide AI tools effectively to achieve desired outcomes. Candidates who have experimented with tools such as Gemini, Cursor, or other agent-based frameworks will be stronger candidates.
