This role sits within S&P Global’s Transactions department, which publishes capital market data. The Transaction Researcher works as an in-house specialist, gaining deep exposure to specific regions and interacting regularly with global teams to understand market dynamics and industry trends.

The Team

The Transactions group is a global and collaborative team focused on supporting S&P clients and maintaining high data quality. What You Will Do

• Track and gather detailed transaction data for the assigned vertical using S&P’s internal database and guidelines.
• Extract and verify information through research tools, press releases, company websites, trade documents, and regulatory filings.
• Provide suggestions for improved data collection methods and product enhancements.
• Review feedback related to transaction content, correct errors, and refine procedures to improve accuracy.
• Meet defined individual and team targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry developments and reporting practices.

What We Are Looking For

• MBA, M.Com, or ACCA with a strong academic record. Relevant work experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and valuation approaches.
• Understanding of financial statements and annual reports.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and interpretive capabilities with attention to detail.
• Comfortable taking initiative and working resourcefully.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts if required.
