The EDO Sustainable1 Data Operations team at S&P Global is an international, project driven group focused on sustainability data management. The team manages one of the most comprehensive datasets on corporate sustainability and supports investors, corporations, and stakeholders with detailed ESG insights.
Working in a collaborative and agile environment, the team contributes to innovation in sustainability indices and benchmarking methodologies used by global clients.
As part of the ESG team, you will help develop and maintain accurate, complete, and timely datasets aligned with the needs of different business divisions. The role involves collecting, summarizing, and synthesizing information from a range of internal and external sources including government and regulatory documents, stock exchanges, CSR reports, industry journals, analyst publications, and research databases.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, with graduation in 2025 or 2026. Applicants must be comfortable working rotational shifts, including night shifts.
The role requires strong quantitative and analytical ability, along with the capacity to interpret large volumes of information. Familiarity with research methods, internet-based information gathering, and Microsoft Office tools is expected. ESG certifications can be beneficial.
Preferred knowledge includes Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, and database management. Candidates should also demonstrate attention to detail, initiative in problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
