About the Role

Role: Financial Operations & Reporting – Operations Associate

S&P Global Market Intelligence, Enterprise Solutions delivers tools that help customers meet regulatory requirements while reducing risk, cost, and operational complexity. The team also supports a broad set of solutions used within the lending ecosystem.

The Financial Operations & Reporting team is a centralized group responsible for managing billing for clients, service providers, and business partners. In addition to revenue assurance, the team handles financial and operational reporting including ad-hoc client billing reports, P&L reporting, invoice dispute handling, and customer or product contract reports.

The Impact

The FinOps Associate helps ensure revenue accuracy for the business while providing insights related to revenue and utilization for leadership decision making. Because financial transactions involve both internal and external stakeholders, accurate validation and dispute resolution are essential for maintaining strong business relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear understanding of supported business lines and the overall lifecycle from contract to service delivery and billing.
  • Work with functions such as Sales, Sales Operations, Contract Management, Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, SAP reporting, Cash Application, Operations, and Client Services.
  • Handle multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply product and process knowledge to support operational decisions and daily activities.
  • Conduct quality control checks with team members to ensure tasks are properly validated and completed.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, or Python is considered an advantage.
  • 0 to 1.5 years of relevant experience preferred.
