Role: Application Associate, Financial Modeling
The Financial Modeling Group delivers specialized services around advanced analytical tools to ensure customers receive a tailored experience when using S&P Global products. The team focuses on onboarding and customer adoption for Excel add-ins, Office Tools products, screening tools, platform customization, and proprietary data solutions.
The group includes professionals with backgrounds in investment research, CFA certifications, and MBA programs. The team works closely with customers to understand their objectives and provide solutions that improve financial workflows.
Application Associates act as corporate finance and Excel modeling specialists. They consult with customers on the use of CIQ and CIQ Pro Excel add-ins and help implement financial data within models used for valuation, ownership analysis, estimates, and charting. The role also involves converting financial models from competing platforms and maintaining a library of pre-built templates available through the Excel add-in template library.
The Financial Modeling Group is a key customer-facing function within the organization. In this role you will build models, screens, and presentations while responding to client queries and demonstrating product expertise.
You will collaborate with the Commercial team to support business opportunities, work with Product teams on enhancements, and assist Customer Services with training and support activities.
