Job Description

Join the Corporate & Investment Bank’s Wholesale Payments Operations team to support accurate transaction processing and deliver high quality client service in a regulated environment. The role focuses on operational excellence through exception resolution, handling client inquiries, and contributing to process improvements and automation.

As a Transaction Processing Specialist in Wholesale Payments Operations, you will manage end to end transaction activities, resolve operational exceptions, and provide subject matter support to internal and external stakeholders. The position also involves supporting regulatory reporting, remediation activities, and maintaining strong operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks within timelines while ensuring accurate and complete transaction processing.
• Handle exceptions, resolve client inquiries, and provide subject matter guidance to stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Maintain a strong control mindset by identifying issues or risks affecting processes and ensuring timely remediation.
• Independently manage day to day operational activities while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Support regulatory reporting and remediation tasks, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
• Work collaboratively with teams across Wholesale Payments Operations to maintain service quality and consistent client experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to understand legal terminology and interpret client or transaction documentation to assess impact.
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently with a strong sense of ownership.
• Flexibility to work during US business hours and maintain a risk aware control mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in middle office or back office operations within the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with financial products, operational processes, and workflows related to Wholesale Payments.
• Strong client focus with the ability to resolve issues and inquiries effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree and experience collaborating with operations teams to improve processes and automation.
