Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a global financial services firm serving consumers, businesses, institutions, and government clients worldwide. The Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) India team supports the Finance function across reporting, compliance, and capital management activities.

This role is part of the Consumer Banking Finance team in Bengaluru within the Banking and Wealth Management line of business. The position focuses on financial and strategic analysis, along with budgeting and forecasting support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and consolidate month-end results, forecasts for the remaining year, and future budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify key business drivers and explain changes from prior forecasts and budgets.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for senior management.
• Improve controls and streamline processes, including introducing automation where appropriate.
• Support projects aimed at driving global consistency and operational synergies across teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze and challenge existing processes and assumptions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Business, Finance, and FP&A teams.

The Consumer & Community Banking division provides services including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans, and payment processing. Global Finance & Business Management supports strategic capital management, financial reporting, efficiency initiatives, and risk management across the organization.
