Job Description
Join our Payments Operations team and contribute to seamless financial transactions in a fast-paced environment. As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV, you will support the smooth transfer of funds between various parties. Working under regular supervision, you will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and secure financial transactions.
Your responsibilities will include payment processing across various products, such as transfers between financial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, and reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. This may involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and invoicing or cash management activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Transaction processing and performing due diligence
- Adopt best practices by partnering with other transaction processing teams
- Work closely within the team to ensure all daily activities and checklists are completed
- Escalate issues and challenges on time
- Actively participate in new projects
- Respond to client services/internal queries in a timely fashion to ensure all queries are logged and resolved within the appropriate time frame
- Identify and escalate issues in a prompt and timely manner which may impact service
- Strengthen and monitor control environment
- Ensure all deliverables are completed correctly and issued to clients per timetable
- Provide timely information to stakeholders and clients on pending requests and possible impacts to other processes
- Maintain control of the environment in respect of JPMorgan & Chase Co. policies and the local regulatory rules
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Good fresher candidates with Finance understanding of Payments in International markets can be considered
- Experience in back-office operations of a reputed foreign bank or its processing arm/private sector bank/public sector for a year
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Should be flexible across APAC/EMEA/WHEM shift and weekend as required to support the client
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with Sanctions, Screening, Due diligence, International Payment Processing Operations, AML-KYC, preferred
- Working knowledge of SWIFT and international payment conventions and practices is preferred
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies that support process improvement and operational excellence
