Job Summary
As part of the customer account team, the Junior Solution Architect works with customers to help them successfully use Red Hat products and services. The role focuses on guiding organizations toward an operating system platform that provides flexibility and enables them to run applications faster and more efficiently.
What You Will Do
In this role based in Mumbai, you will participate in the FASTER Program, a structured 12 month learning experience designed to build technical knowledge and customer engagement capabilities. The program begins on 1 September 2026 and provides hands on exposure to Red Hat technologies while working alongside experienced professionals.
- Learn how Red Hat supports customers in addressing technical development and business challenges using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and systems management solutions.
- Build technical expertise across Red Hat technologies including cloud, automation, and AI through training programs and recognized certifications.
- Apply technical knowledge while participating in customer interactions, project experiences, and job shadowing activities.
- Support experienced Solution Architects as they deliver proof of value through presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and pilot projects.
- Gain familiarity with the processes and tools used in enterprise level solution architecture.
- Assist the Sales organization and RHEL business unit by helping demonstrate technical value, educating customers, and contributing to opportunity advancement.
What You Will Bring
- Interest in open source technology and motivation to develop a career in the technology industry.
- Strong technical foundation in computer science, IT, AI, or similar fields developed through university studies, bootcamps, or certification programs.
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX operating systems.
- Experience applying analytical and technical problem solving skills in enterprise IT related projects.
- Ability to learn new technologies independently.
- Customer focused mindset with an interest in understanding user requirements.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required and work from a Red Hat office.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Exposure to Red Hat technologies, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux, is beneficial.
