About the Role
Rapido is seeking a passionate and motivated Data Science Intern to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to apply their skills in data analysis, machine learning, and programming to address real-world business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the data science team to gather, clean, and analyze datasets.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and trends.
- Assist in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models under supervision.
- Develop visualizations and dashboards to effectively present insights.
- Support in deploying models and tracking their performance.
- Document processes, findings, and results for internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and SQL.
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data structures.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau/Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
