Engineer - Compiler Development
Qualcomm is seeking a Software Engineer to support the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. The role involves working with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineering teams to build software solutions for next-generation products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply software engineering knowledge to support the development and validation of embedded and cloud edge software.
- Assist in analyzing software requirements and user needs.
- Design and implement small software features for products and systems.
- Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration activities to ensure timely project completion.
- Support code reviews, regression testing, and issue triaging to maintain software quality.
- Collaborate with project teams to achieve development objectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects.
Level of Responsibility
- Works under supervision with guidance from senior team members.
- Handles tasks that may require planning, prioritization, and problem-solving.
- Uses written and verbal communication skills to share routine technical information.
- Decisions impact the immediate work area or project team.
