About the Role
We are seeking a driven Apprentice to support customer-facing activities for Pearson digital products. This position serves as a bridge between educational institutes and the internal sales team, ensuring seamless communication, timely report generation, professional query resolution, and effective coordination for customer success. This role is well-suited for early-career professionals eager to build expertise in sales operations, customer relationship management, and digital product support within the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary liaison between institutes, faculty, students, and internal sales teams for digital product coordination.
- Serve as an account relationship executive for assigned institutes and support daily customer engagement tasks.
- Generate, maintain, and distribute usage reports, activation logs, and progress trackers using Microsoft Excel.
- Comprehend customer queries with empathy, provide professional responses, and manage follow-ups until final resolution.
- Handle incoming customer requests by resolving minor issues and routing technical concerns to specialized support teams.
- Collaborate with sales, customer support, and operations units to ensure smooth implementation and continuous product usage.
- Track customer requests, pending action items, and escalations in an organized and timely fashion.
- Support onboarding, activation, and communication programs for institutes, faculty members, and learners.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, data accuracy, and responsiveness across all customer touchpoints.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, encompassing data tracking, basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and report formatting.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact confidently with external clients and internal stakeholders.
- Customer-first mindset characterized by patience, empathy, and professionalism when addressing queries or grievances.
- Strong coordination and follow-up capabilities to manage multiple requests and diverse groups of people.
- Keen attention to detail and data accuracy when managing customer metrics and communication logs.
- Quick learning curve for grasping digital product workflows and explaining basic functionalities simply to users.
- Readiness to work outside standard hours periodically based on urgent business or customer demands.
