Role Overview

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic knowledge of software architecture to develop, debug and design software applications or operating systems according to the provided design specifications. You will build enhancements within an existing software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Make enhancements to existing software applications.
• Develop and design new reports, including SQL-based data fetching, data processing and data representation based on requirements.
• Gather requirements, understand project scope, create work estimates, and plan and execute tasks effectively.
• Handle client calls and work with stakeholders to make sure requirements are met.
• Take part in component-level technical design discussions and collaboration.
• Perform debugging and document root cause analysis and resolutions.
• Identify and suggest team-level process improvements that support operations and the development ecosystem.
• Provide support for software releases.
• Gain an understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.

Additional Responsibilities

You may work additional or irregular hours as needed and as allowed by local regulations. Shifts run 9 AM to 6 PM. You will follow corporate and organizational security policies, help safeguard company and client assets, and report any security compromises within the scope of the role. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Skills

Required: SQL, PL-SQL, Database Management Systems, Programming (Python, Java, C++), Debugging, Version Control (Git), Unit Testing, Data Analysis.

Good to have: Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Business Objects, Power Insight, DA2), CCL, Healthcare Workflow.
