Overview
Responsibilities
- Develop, port, and maintain testing for MPU and MCU ROM software and related tools to ensure functionality, compatibility, performance, and stability.
- Validate ROM software for MPU and MCU chips using FPGA or Zebu environments and reference boards.
- Design, build, and utilize tools for automated testing and continuous integration testing.
- Review design documentation, reference manuals, and user guides.
- Provide active support to the development team and key customers when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of MPU and MCU architecture and common peripherals such as GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, RTC, PWM, ADC, and DAC.
- Knowledge of memory modules including NAND, NOR, eMMC, and SD. Familiarity with security algorithms is a plus.
- Strong concepts related to ARM Cortex-A and Cortex-M hardware and software. Experience with chips like i.MX, Kinetis, LPC, or STM32 is preferred.
- Familiarity with QA and testing methodologies, test cycles, and processes is desirable.
- Experience with Python, Ruby, Shell scripting, or web programming is preferred.
- Exposure to FPGA environments is an advantage.
