Overview
Internship Role & Responsibilities
As a Frontend Developer Intern, you will:
- Support cross-platform development across Web (React), Mobile (React Native), and Desktop (Electron)
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to build responsive UI components using modern UI libraries like MUI
- Simulate real-time data using short polling and WebSockets
- Contribute to shared libraries and reusable components with TypeScript under mentorship
- Participate in code reviews, debug sessions, and UI/UX design discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Exposure to TypeScript and hands-on experience with React.js (projects or coursework)
- Familiarity with modern CSS techniques, component-driven development, and layout systems
- Interest in exploring React Native and Electron
- Comfortable using Git, browser dev tools, and debugging strategies
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Experience in API integration and real-time UIs using
setInterval,useEffect, or WebSockets - Basic understanding of Redux or other state management tools
- Familiarity with UI libraries like MUI, TailwindCSS
- Experience building and deploying full-fledged React projects
- Participation in hackathons, open-source contributions, or student-led tech initiatives
- Worked on reusable components or npm libraries
Education Requirement
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related branches
Technical Skills Required
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, React Native, Electron, Git, MUI, TailwindCSS, Redux, WebSockets, API Integration
