Role Overview
We are seeking a Modem Software Integration and Test Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating and executing tests for RF, 5G, and 4G protocols, analyzing performance, identifying software defects, and collaborating with development teams to implement fixes. You will also contribute to the development of intelligent automation solutions leveraging Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute integration and performance tests for RF, 5G/LTE protocols, and InterRAT scenarios.
- Troubleshoot and reproduce customer-reported issues for debugging purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify fixes and verify solutions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or Perl for test execution and log analysis.
- Work with test simulators and systems such as KeySight, Anite, R&S, Racal, and Anritsu.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications for 5G and 4G capable devices.
- Experience in call processing and message flow for 5G/4G standards.
- Proficiency in Python and Perl scripting for automation.
- Hands-on experience in RF/5G/4G device testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and applications.
- Experience in developing or testing 5G/4G protocol implementations on wireless platforms.
- Familiarity with advanced test environments for RF/5G/4G.
