Behind every Microsoft cloud service sits an enormous global infrastructure. Massive data centers. Millions of servers. And a dedicated team that keeps everything running smoothly. This internship places you right inside that environment.
As a Data Center Technician Intern, you will work alongside Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team. This group manages the physical backbone of Microsoft’s online platforms, including Azure, Bing, Office 365, OneDrive, and Xbox services. Your role supports the hardware and infrastructure that power services used by billions of people every day.
It’s a hands-on internship. Expect to work directly with hardware, cables, storage devices, and server systems. You’ll learn how large-scale data centers operate, and you’ll see how physical infrastructure supports global cloud computing.
