Role Overview
KPMG is recruiting for an Associate Consultant to join the team. The role centers on financial modelling, financial analysis and business planning work for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the specification and design of models and analysis tools.
- Build models from scratch, including integrated P&L, cash flow and balance sheet models.
- Amend models developed by KPMG staff or third parties.
- Carry out financial analysis of model outputs.
- Ensure consistency in client models, and create and maintain project documentation and data books.
- Test models in line with KPMG quality control procedures.
- Review models and share findings with clients using KPMG proprietary software.
- Review revised client models to confirm that review comments have been addressed.
- Document how models operate and record the findings from the work.
- Document issues in business models for review reports, and work with the project manager to explain the points raised.
- Design and run commercial analysis such as market sizing, market driver analysis and competitive benchmarking.
- Develop business cases and business plans supported by robust financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
