Overview
Role Summary
We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Machine Learning Intern to join our Data Science team at the Bangalore office. This is a 6-month, full-time internship ideal for individuals looking to gain real-world experience in applying machine learning and data science techniques in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will work closely with both data science and engineering teams to develop and deploy ML solutions that power various aspects of our product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming structured and unstructured datasets
- Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to address fintech-specific challenges
- Support user profiling, segmentation, and behavioral analysis to enhance personalization and targeting
- Take part in the full ML lifecycle — from model design and training to validation, deployment, and performance monitoring
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and deliver actionable insights for product and business teams
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Python and practical experience with machine learning frameworks
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms
- Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models on real-world datasets
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
