Job Summary

The Junior Technical Account Manager (JTAM) focuses on developing foundational knowledge of Red Hat products and support practices. The role contributes to customer satisfaction by helping resolve basic technical issues while building an understanding of customer environments. The JTAM follows defined procedures, applies fundamental troubleshooting techniques, and develops judgment when prioritizing customer requests.

Program Overview

During the first year in New Delhi, you will participate in the FASTER Program, a 12‑month development program designed to build deep technical knowledge and customer engagement capabilities. The program begins on 1 September 2026 and provides hands-on exposure to Red Hat technologies while working with experienced professionals and real customer scenarios.

  • Learn how Red Hat supports customers in addressing technical and strategic business challenges using its enterprise open source portfolio.
  • Build technical knowledge across Red Hat solutions including cloud and automation platforms through structured training and certifications.
  • Assist senior team members in delivering technical and architectural guidance to key customers.
  • Support sales teams by helping deliver enterprise IT solutions built on Red Hat technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer questions and requests following established processes.
  • Record customer interactions and track progress of issue resolution using designated systems.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers or specialists when necessary.
  • Participate in internal training to strengthen product knowledge and technical capability.
  • Support customer onboarding activities and ongoing account maintenance tasks.
  • Identify common technical issues and document known solutions.
  • Help create and maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation.

Required Skills and Background

  • Interest in open source technologies and building a career in the technology industry.
  • Technical knowledge in computer science, IT, or related disciplines gained through university programs, certification courses, or technical boot camps.
  • Experience applying troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills in enterprise IT related projects.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and system configuration.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies, particularly Linux and container platforms.
  • Experience with Red Hat products such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform is beneficial.
