Job Description
We are seeking a Data Analytics Associate to join our Finance team at JPMorgan Chase & Co. This role is ideal for strategic thinkers passionate about data-driven solutions. You will be responsible for defining, refining, and delivering analytics goals while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support CIB Ops Risk Data & Metrics Lead in documenting, streamlining, and delivering metric-related tasks
- Collaborate with teams to identify data analysis needs and build solutions using Alteryx and Tableau
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports in Tableau
- Perform data analysis, data mining, and cleansing to identify patterns and insights
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to answer business questions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data workflows
- Present findings and insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry best practices in analytics and visualization
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Relevant experience in banking/financial environments with knowledge of Operational Risk & Control
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx and Tableau for data analysis and visualization
- Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to query large datasets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
