About the Role
Cadence is seeking a motivated Intern - CST to join our Bangalore team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge electronic design automation tools and contribute to innovative semiconductor design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Cadence Virtuoso tool suite, including schematic, layout, and analog design environments.
- Support analog/digital design flows, simulation, layout, and physical verification processes (DRC/LVS/RC Extraction).
- Collaborate with teams to utilize foundry PDKs and custom analog design methodologies.
- Develop scripts using CShell, SKILL, Python, Perl, or TCL to automate workflows.
- Operate in a Linux-based environment and work with compute-server grid systems and load-balancing tools such as LSF, SGE, and Slurm.
- Participate in cross-functional teamwork, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso tool suite.
- Familiarity with analog/digital flows and physical verification.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: CShell, SKILL, Python, Perl, TCL.
- Comfortable in Linux environments.
- Exposure to compute-server grid systems and load-balancing tools.
