Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will join the Cloud Cost Management team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality software. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where innovation, ownership, and collaboration are core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain key product components in a high-performance environment
- Write functional specifications and design documents
- Analyze and understand complex systems and own major modules
- Develop scalable algorithms for distributed computing
- Perform peer reviews of code, specifications, and architecture
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues
- Build robust, maintainable, and secure software systems using Java, Golang, or Python

- Languages & Frameworks: Java, Golang, Python
- Cloud & Infrastructure: GCP, AWS, Azure
- Tools & Platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, TimescaleDB, Cloud Composer, AI Platform, Stackdriver, GCS
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience developing scalable distributed systems using Java or similar languages
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Good debugging and analytical skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Comfortable working in agile and fast-paced development cycles
- Strong problem-solving mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
