Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the water and wastewater sector at our Noida office. This role offers hands-on experience in designing mechanical equipment and systems that support critical water treatment and distribution infrastructure.

Your Role

• Assist in preparing mechanical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities under senior engineer guidance.
• Support sizing and selection of pumps, valves, pipes, and associated mechanical equipment.
• Prepare pipe, valve, and equipment schedules.
• Compile mechanical equipment specifications such as pumps, screens, macerators, and blowers.
• Contribute to developing mechanical general arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Review supplier/contractor submittals and technical data.
• Assist in preparing design reports, calculations, and technical notes.
• Support senior engineers in resolving technical issues during construction and commissioning.
• Learn and assist with development of P&IDs and control philosophies for mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, process, and ICA engineers.
• Participate in occasional site visits for surveys, data collection, and installation assessments.
• Contribute innovative ideas and suggestions for improvement.
• Exhibit positive energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivation.

About You

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory standards, and codes relevant to the water industry.
