About the Role
The Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship is a 24-month learning and development program designed for individuals looking to build a career in Data Analytics. Apprentices work full-time (~40 hours per week) in a hybrid model, combining in-office experience with external training.
During the program, you will:
- Gain hands-on experience working with Google teams on live projects
- Spend 20% of your time in structured training and 80% on real-world assignments
- Develop essential data analysis skills, from spreadsheets to programming languages
- Learn how to translate data insights into business impact across different industries
Apprentices will be colocated with teams in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, or Mumbai. Relocation assistance is available for those moving more than 100 km from their assigned office.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data accurately, identify anomalies, and prepare reports for knowledge sharing
- Conduct custom analysis to uncover industry insights for Google’s customers
- Solve real-world business problems using data-driven approaches
- Understand the data lifecycle and apply it across business units
- Use spreadsheets and programming languages to organize, analyze, and interpret data
- Make actionable recommendations across different business groups
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should not have participated in any prior Government Apprenticeship programs
- Aadhaar must be linked to an active mobile number and personal email ID (mandatory for registration)
- Must be committed to completing the full 24-month program in a hybrid model
- This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Less than 1 year of experience in data analytics after graduation
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Chrome) or similar applications
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL programming
- Interest in data analysis, numbers, and patterns
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to seek guidance when needed
