About the Role
You will join the Economic and Country Risk OSINT team, which combines machine-driven and human intelligence sources to collect and enhance data on global security and political risks. The insights produced by the team support predictive applications that help organizations understand evolving geopolitical developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and gather significant political and global security events across assigned countries to ensure comprehensive coverage of critical developments.
- Use licensed platforms and OSINT techniques to identify and extract relevant intelligence events globally.
- Evaluate and verify the authenticity, credibility, and reliability of information sources before adding events to the intelligence database.
- Prepare and publish structured intelligence summaries that clearly capture essential event details.
- Maintain accurate attribution of collected events and ensure consistency in event categorization and metadata tagging.
- Conduct quality checks on collected information to detect inconsistencies and maintain high data accuracy standards.
- Identify and integrate new intelligence sources, particularly primary and region-specific channels with high reliability.
- Work with team members to place terrorism and security data within broader risk frameworks used in client deliverables.
- Assist with research initiatives and provide analytical support for special projects when required.
- Follow established standard operating procedures for data collection, categorization, and processing.
- Maintain and update documentation for assigned countries, ensuring the intelligence collection plan remains accurate.
- Support operations across flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, or during emergency crisis situations affecting assigned regions.
Education
Degree in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
Competencies
- Fluency in one or more languages such as French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, or Southeast Asian languages is preferred.
- Strong awareness of geopolitical affairs and global influences on business strategies.
- Proficiency in computer-based research and analytical work.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling information.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Understanding of different cultures and regions.
