Job Description

This is a Financial Planning and Analysis Management Trainee role. Key responsibilities include:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support variance analysis by comparing actual results with budget or forecast.
• Identify trends and provide insights into business performance.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Take part in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Gather and consolidate data from different departments to build accurate forecasts.
• Support the development of financial models that project revenue, expenses, and profitability.

3. Business Performance Monitoring

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and help build dashboards.
• Monitor financial and operational performance against strategic goals.
• Provide management with actionable insights drawn from data analysis.

4. Data Management and Financial Modeling

• Maintain and enhance financial models in Excel or BI tools.
• Collect and analyze financial and non-financial data from internal systems.
• Assist with scenario and sensitivity analyses for strategic planning.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with sales, operations, and procurement teams to understand financial impact.
• Help communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

6. Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies in existing FP&A processes and suggest improvements.
• Learn and help implement automation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel macros.

7. Compliance and Internal Controls

• Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data reporting.
• Follow internal control procedures and support audit requirements.

8. Learning and Development

• Take part in training sessions and mentoring programs.
• Keep up with financial and industry trends to sharpen analytical skills.
