Associate - F&A - Treasury

Genpact is an agentic and advanced technology solutions company that uses process intelligence and artificial intelligence to deliver measurable outcomes for global enterprises. This role sits within the Finance and Accounting (F&A) Treasury team and covers tax, treasury and compliance work.

Tax Support

• Help prepare and file tax returns such as VAT, GST, sales/use tax and income tax.
• Collect and verify supporting documents for tax filings.
• Keep tax records accurate and organized for audits.
• Assist with tax reconciliations, including reconciling tax accounts to the general ledger.
• Track tax payment deadlines and help ensure payments are made on time to avoid penalties.
• Support responses to tax authorities during audits, assessments or inquiries.

Treasury Support

• Assist with daily cash management, including monitoring cash positions, bank balances and fund transfers.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow reports and forecasts.
• Support the execution and tracking of intercompany funding and loan agreements.
• Help manage bank accounts, including openings, closures and KYC documentation.
• Coordinate with banks on payment processing issues, bank statements and other service requests.
• Support treasury accounting and the reconciliation of treasury-related entries.

Compliance & Controls

• Make sure tax and treasury processes follow internal controls and SOX requirements where applicable.
• Help prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Follow regulatory and internal policy requirements for financial transactions.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare periodic tax and treasury reports for internal stakeholders.
• Help prepare management reports on tax liabilities, cash flow and treasury positions.
• Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all assigned processes.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work with internal teams such as Finance, Accounts Payable and Legal to gather information for tax and treasury tasks.
