Job Description

This Level 1 support role centers on customer service and fast, accurate resolution of incidents. The analyst must handle several tasks at once, often with little advance notice, and stay composed during critical or catastrophic events.

• Understand each issue, search the Knowledge Management Tool, and communicate the findings clearly.
• Document new issues and solutions in the Knowledge Management Repository.
• Apply soft skills such as active listening, empathy and courtesy.
• Use professional techniques to retain and delight customers.
• Deliver quality service and resolve concerns efficiently and professionally.
• Take full ownership of each incident from creation to closure.
• Provide technical assistance for incoming queries and issues.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
• Perform system upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Ensure the security and privacy of systems and networks.
• Offer timely technical support and teach users how to use systems effectively.
