Job Description Summary

This role involves programming components, features, and feature sets. The individual will work independently, contributing to the immediate team and other teams across the business, and will also participate in design discussions.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

• Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers, and software developers to implement solutions that align with and extend shared platforms and solutions.
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies such as Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
• Write code that meets established standards and delivers desired functionality using the project's selected technology.
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
• Work with core data structures and algorithms, implementing them using the language of choice.

Desired Characteristics

Technical Skills:

Must Have:

• Experience working with Go Lang.
• Knowledge of Distributed System Concepts.
• Working experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda, ECS).
• Working experience with Kubernetes.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge or working experience with Java, Python technologies.
• Working experience with distributed storage technologies (Cassandra, Kafka, etc.).
• Working experience with distributed processing technologies (Spark/Spark Streaming/Scala).

Awareness of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.

Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Capable of applying continuous integration (CI).

General understanding of how technology choices impact the software development life cycle.
