Job Summary
GE Vernova is looking for highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic interns who want to grow their technical and professional skills while building a career with limitless potential. As a Software Engineering Specialist Intern, you will work on impactful projects in real-world scenarios, collaborate with industry leaders, and gain hands-on experience in digital technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in meaningful, impactful assignments including team-building and career development opportunities
- Focus on software engineering functions within GE Digital based on business needs
- Commit to full-time work (40 hours per week) for a duration of 6–11 months
- Engage with key software and business leaders at GE and leverage the global internship support network
- Contribute to projects that advance GE Vernova’s mission in electrification and decarbonization
Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited university or a credentialed software accelerator program
- Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields
- Minimum 8.5 GPA (cumulative or in-major)
- Must graduate in 2026 and be available for the internship
- Full-time commitment without concurrent coursework or external projects
- Must be willing to work onsite in Hyderabad or Bengaluru
- Legal authorization to work in India is required
Desired Characteristics
- Prior internship, co-op, or research experience in software engineering or related areas
- Leadership experience in academic or extracurricular settings
- Strong passion and aptitude for software engineering and technology
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Familiarity with software development tools and industry standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
