Flex is Hiring Junior Financial Analyst (Chennai) | Freshers Eligible

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

• Perform all defined cost accounting activities.
• Understand corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics.
• Implement time-saving and cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements.
• Work with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups.
• Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest process and document them in DMS.
• Learn and serve as a backup for the cost accountant.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Basic level knowledge in MS applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Good team player with analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn and deploy the skills learned in day-to-day processes.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• B.Com/BBA (Finance)/M.Com/MBA (Finance) Freshers/0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to understand and interpret accounting policies.
