Flex Hiring Junior Engineer, Operations Engineering in Chennai

Job Summary

This role is for candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience. The shift runs from 5 pm to 2 am (night shift).

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Create part numbers for the BOM in Agile and Baan, and set up AVLs in those systems.
• Download customer documents such as product specifications and release them in CDC.
• Act as a change analyst during NPI for new changes.
• Release part lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation.
• Manage ECOs for manufacturing sites across the globe using the Agile PLM system, covering creation, review, routing, tracking, release and distribution.
• Study ECOs and drawings closely and coordinate with the site process and product engineering teams.
• Work with engineering and materials teams to review product updates and modifications.
• Respond to business partners (requestors) and customers on Engineering Change Order queries, and meet the targets set for all process metrics.
• Manage people and lead with a strong sense of ownership.
