What a typical day looks like
- Apply knowledge of Quality Management Systems, quality tools and terminology.
- Understand EMS and manufacturing processes.
- Support the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing and technology capabilities and health, safety and environmental risks.
- Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets required standards.
- Follow up with suppliers on root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.
- Provide concise, complete and accurate documentation of inspection results for your area of responsibility.
- Follow processes and look for possible improvements.
- Report on KPIs and help prevent non-conformities related to product, process or system.
- Have basic knowledge of PPAP, ISO/IATF standards and drawing reading.
- Manage and coordinate supplier material and non-material cost recovery for supplier quality issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Carry out quality control of work through appropriate reviews.
- Provide data-driven decision support.
The experience we are looking for
- Diploma in EEE, ECE, Mechanical or E&TC.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in the automotive, EMS or electronics products manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of PCB operations, lean manufacturing and ISO standards.
- Knowledge of measurement techniques.
- Ability to plan and prioritize activities.
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Flexibility to work across time zones.
- Good communication, analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Studious, fast learner, and able to adapt to the environment.
- Sincere, dedicated and a good team player.
