Digital CoE for ERP India Internship

The SAP Developer Intern role sits within the Digital CoE for ERP India department, which manages SAP platforms and solutions. The internship is ideally six months long and should start in January or February 2027, though the start date is flexible.

Your Missions

• Apply standard computer science principles (such as OOP, SQL, and web standards) to SAP environments like ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Learn how enterprise applications share data by building and testing APIs, OData services, and data pipelines.
• Work with functional analysts and senior architects to understand business needs, turning user requirements into technical documentation and working code.
• Run unit tests, fix bugs, and optimize database queries so enterprise tools stay secure and efficient.

A tutor will help you define your professional goals and build your skills.

Skills You Will Develop

• How ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA organize financial, supply chain, and operational data.
• Writing and debugging ABAP programs, including Object-Oriented ABAP, Core Data Services (CDS) views, and database access within SAP.
• Building user-friendly business interfaces with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and SAPUI5/Fiori design principles.
• Using Git, abapGit, and transport management systems to deploy code across Development, Testing, and Production.
• Working through complex legacy codebases, diagnosing difficult bugs, and applying logic to real business problems.
