Flex Hiring Associate Engineer Environmental in Chennai | ₹4 LPA

Job Summary

Flex is looking to add an Associate Engineer, Environmental to its team in Chennai. The role supports teams that build products and grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and archive component information related to Environmental Compliance through Assent Compliance Management.
• Work with manufacturers across the world to collect environmental declarations and guide them on compliance information requested by the requestor.
• Support Supplier Quality Engineers, Commodity Management, Procurement and Design Engineering teams on Environmental Compliance.
• Handle regulation changes in ACM and forecast the risk to affected parts for the Product Environment Compliance team so the site can be alerted.
• Train suppliers on Environmental Compliance requirements based on customer needs where required.
• Coordinate with the Global Environmental Compliance team to resolve new customer requirements or compliance queries from the site.
• Support the organization in regulatory compliance and internal or third party audits.

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS Word).
• Good team player.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the EMS industry.
• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, EEE or Mechanical Engineering.
