Emerson Hiring Technical Support Engineer (Chennai) | Freshers Eligible

Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

• Follow the company's safety, health and environmental management regulations.
• Manage customer contracts by carrying out preventative maintenance visits, documenting and delivering reports, and providing on-site remedial support.
• Ensure warranty and non-warranty replacements reach customers in the region on time.
• Track customer return valve documentation and make sure each valve is serviced and returned to the customer properly.
• Coordinate with the service team and cross-functional teams on service activities.
• Understand and follow safety requirements for equipment design, troubleshooting and operation.
• Ensure proper shutdown service activity, with documentation and customer feedback.
• Submit service reports and the solutions provided to customers on time.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Have 0-2 years of experience in service.
• Physical demands: lift up to 3 kilograms and distinguish colors.

Work environment: Manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling solenoid valves and knowledge of field instrumentation for pressure, flow and temperature.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% (within the country and region).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
